What is the approximate distance, in feet, between the two triangles?
AB and ED, are fixed to the ground with the help of ropes AC and EC, as shown:
What is the approximate distance, in feet, between the two poles? 7.14 feet 7.21 feet 14.35 feet 15.59 feet

I think b but I'm not sure.
THey are right triangles, you need to calculate the base for both of them.. BC and CD
use pythagorean thorem a^2+b^2=c^2
7.21?
ill do one of em 10^2 = 7^2 + CD^2 100 = 49 + CD^2 51 = cd^2 CD = root(51)
yeah that 7.21 you said is for the segment BC, just add the two BC+CD for the distance
for A 7.21 for B 7.14 is the answer 14.35
C?
looksgood \[\sqrt{52}+\sqrt{51} \approx\]
I have 5 more questions I really need help with.
ok ill try
Two functions, A and B, are described as follows: Function A y = 8x + 3 Function B The rate of change is 1 and the y-intercept is 4. How much more is the rate of change of function A than the rate of change of function B? 1 7 8 9
The rate of change for each of those lines, is the slope
A has slope 8 B has slope 1
