During the summer months, why is the average temperature much higher in many regions of the globe? More sunlight reaches the environment. Less sunlight reaches the environment. There is no snow. The amount of sunlight reaching the environment stays constant. PLEASE HELP! I will medal and fan.
@SeanStewart16
I was thinking D or A. What do you think?
more sunlight reaches the environment
Thanks! Do you mind looking over some questions I have already answered? I just want to make sure I get the answers correct.
during summer, either the souther or the northen half of the earth is tilted toward the sun, making it hotter, this is also why the seasons are opposite on the other side of the gloe, and sure
Okay, thanks for explaining. Here is the first question: Which of these groups of animals are endangered? dinosaurs killer whales mice sea turtles This one?
well, dinos are gone, mice are never going to die out, orcas are endangered, but not as badly as sea turtles, so yes, i would think it would be sea turtles
Thanks! Next question: What happens if a species is unable to adapt to a changing environment? Its population increases. Its population decreases. This one? Its population fluctuates. Its population stays constant.
yes, if a population cant adapt, it would decrease and eventually die out
Okay. Next question: Which of these traits enabled the birds on the Galapagos Islands to eat large seeds? hollow bones wings large beaks This one? flat beaks
i havent studied the galapagoss birds other than in darwins theory of natural selection, but on would assume that a bird would need a large beak to eat large seeds
Okay. Thanks! Last question: What would happen if a major predator was added to the food web? The population of prey would increase. The population of prey would decrease. This one? The population of prey would stay the same. The population of prey would fluctuate.
yes, if a predator was introduced, they population would decrease due to the amount of food needed by the predator
Okay. Thanks! That was the last question. Thanks for helping me. Bye! Have a great rest of the day! ~Miss.Rose
