Essays can be about a variety of things, usually stuff such as protein synthesis, use of enzyme, respiration, photosynthesis, DNA replication, energy transfer between trophic levels and agriculture

@rushwr, Ah, not the way that things are labelled where I am.  I read that as "a level" (two words), not "A-level" as in a identifier of level.  

scholar.google.com is a great tool.  Add this "filetype:pdf" to limit results to things with a pdf you can access (do not include the quotation marks).
