they want you to total 6 rectangles, and there are 6 possible between those points on the table

width is the diff in x value,   height is the value of f(x)

If you have no specific  instructions or preference,  then I'd suggest you use the Trapezoidal Rule to estimate the area under the curve y=f(x).  Are you familiar with the Trap. Rule?
