OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok this an order of operation problem... parenthesis first.. therefore you have 10+(6)^2/4*1/8 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just needed to clean up something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now from left to right, simplify you 10+(36/4)*(1/8) 10+(9)(1/8)=10+9/8=11.125 which is equal to (11*1/8)
