Which expression is equivalent to 6(2m – 1) – 4(m + 8)? A. 8m – 38 B. 8m + 7 C. 8m + 31 D. 2m – 38
Okay lets try and solve. So first we will distribute 6(2m - 1). What do you get when you do this? @SWAGSTER23780
I Suck At Math
Okay well you first do 6 * 2m, which is 12m and then times 1... so you should get: 6m - 6. and then do the same to the next part so you should get: (6m - 6) - (4m + 32)
Now when you combine like terms you should get 2m - 38.
Hope this helped! Have a great day! :) If you see that I am online and need help with a question, just tag me in your question! @SWAGSTER23780
