has anyone read the Odyssey??
READ the following information.

Throughout The Odyssey, the reader learns that Odysseus is cunning, intelligent,

adventurous, and courageous. However, a primary flaw keeps Odysseus from reaching

his potential: the flaw of yielding to temptation. If Odysseus had recognized the
temptations he accepted from Calypso and Circe, he could have salvaged his crew and
returned home more quickly
Think carefully about the following statement.
Being tempted is a common trait to all of humanity, and many people have been blocked
from reaching their ultimate goal

I have not read the Odyssey, but I can try to help you. I won't write the essay, but once you get a few ideas it will be easy. What are some things you find tempting?

Some things people might find tempting are money and fame. This could lead someone into not wanting to reach there goal. Say you wanted to read a book in 2 days, but someone offered you $20 not to read it. Some people might find this more tempting than reading the book. Therefore leading them away from their goal. Do you see what I am saying?
