How would you interpret these results from an independent 2 sample t-test with the t-value = 0.39 and the p-value = 0.6993 with Degrees of Freedom = 69?

OpenStudy (denonakavro):

I can help but is this the whole question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is part of a sample that I put in Minitab. So I ran an Independent 2 sample t-test with two variables and the t-value was 0.39 df = 69 and the p-value = 0.6993. I am just not sure how to interpret it

OpenStudy (denonakavro):

what is your hypothesis ?

OpenStudy (denonakavro):

It depends on the question but you do not reject the null hypothesis when the p value is greater than 0.05 or 5%
