do you know SOHCAHTOA sine equals opposite/hypotenuse
Your opposite side will be 4 and your hypotenuse will 5 so sinex =4/5
Okay so the formula is 12 opposite sin(Θ)=---=--------- 13 hypotenuse
Sin = Opposite/Hypotenuse So from your angle on that picture...look at the side opposite that angle....and then look at the hypotenuse... Opposite side is length 12 and hypotenuse is length 13 so....
Dont forget the rule sine = opp/hyp cos = adj/hyp tan = Opp/adj Also opposite side is the side across from the angle x Hypotenuse is the side across from the 90 degree angle And the third one left is the adjacent
so the answer is 4/5
