OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Each equation in Column A is simply a number added to m. In each case, subtract that number from both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

math student 55 u get it i dont

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Let's do the first equation as an example. \(m + 5 = -7.3\) 5 is being added to m, so we subtract m from both sides. \(m + 5 - 5 = -7.3 - 5\) \(m = -7.3 - 5\) Which choice is Column B does this match?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Do the same for the other equations.

@swaggkingpatrick I need to go now, but I'll just help you quickly. In the future, start your own post with a question. Don't just write a question in someone else's post. You need to convert 5 m to cm. This is the conversion factor you need: 1 m = 100 cm If 1 m = 100 cm, that means if you multiply the number of meters by 100, you get cm. Your problem asks what 5 m is in cm. Multiply 5 by 100. Don't forget to write the units, cm.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Sorry, but gtg.

OpenStudy (aaalive):

k bye

OpenStudy (aaalive):

wait...what are you talking about? this question has nothing to do with cm
