Y<10x+20 1.What is the x intercept point? 2. what is the y intercept point? 3.graph the line. is the line solid or dotted? 4. is the point (0,0) in the solution area or not?

OpenStudy (snuggielad):

Okay, I found your question. First of all welcome to OpenStudy. Now I can't give you the answers but how do you think you could find the X and Y intercepts?

OpenStudy (snuggielad):

First you have to put it in standard form then set x and y equal to zero.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You might find it slightly easier to handle this problem if you'd replace the inequality symbol with = for now. Setting y = 0 and solving for x will give you the x-intercept. Similarly, setting x = 0 and solving for y will give you the y-intercept. Write both as points: (x,y).
