OpenStudy (leozap1):

Fan & Medal. The number of customers that visit a local small business is 37,800 and has been continuously declining at a rate of 1.7% each year. What is the approximate number of customers that visit the business in 12 years 30,770 30,824 32,017 46,354

OpenStudy (twistrose):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (leozap1):

I'm not sure how to solve it, that's why I'm asking. :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you know its not D

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Yea, I can eliminate it because it depreciates, so the solution will be smaller than the starting number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30,770. I just did it the long way by subtracting 1.7% from 37,800 and got A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did it 12 times... forgot to add that

OpenStudy (leozap1):

Dang, just submitted it and that was wrong. ;-;

OpenStudy (leozap1):

The correct answer was B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried the long way... I forgot the formula for that... I was pretty darn close, but you got to be exact in math or the world blows up...
