Maybe this will clear things up: Adjectives are words that describe. So, an adjective clause is a group of words that describe. Here's an example of a sentence that contains an adjective clause: The window had a creepy look about it- the window were dusty, cracked, and the wood around it was decaying. See the descriptive words used there? "dusty, cracked, decaying..." that's what makes up the adjective clause.
