Is the following statement true or false? Every diameter of a circle is a chord. Justify your answer using what you know about diameters and chords.

We know that a chord is a segment joining any points on the circle Since a diameter always intersects a circle at two poits,therefore it is also a chord. Hence every diameter is a chord... I guess this is all that is to it... Fan and medal me if u find this helpful:)

Chord- A line segment connecting two points on a curve. Example: the line segment connecting two points on a circle's circumference is a chord. When the chord passes through the center of a circle it is called the diameter.
