Idk if this poem will be any good I don't write poems a lot, plz look pass my not so good work but at what it means

Hunger in America 
There is Hunger in America today
while millions of children stand together,
wishing they had food that lasted forever
We stand across the shore,
Standing and watching their sores.
We watch with a blind eye
knowing that 1 out of 5 die. 
 Their cries ran out
They're filled with doubt
We can change this
Make thier lives pure bliss
Give them food and hope
We can be their Antidote
