In To Kill A Mockingbird, what is a symbol of childhood innocence?

OpenStudy (ivysleague):

When Scout says the n word

OpenStudy (ivysleague):

Should I find a video clip?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be like Scout says the n word showing how she is growing up and out of innocence?

OpenStudy (ivysleague):

In my opinion it would show that Scout does not understand what the n word means, because of her innocence, and when her father lets her know that it is not a word she should say again it takes her innocence away because she realizes that it is a bad word to use. But it could go both ways.

ahh i see thanks!

OpenStudy (ivysleague):

no problem, glad I could help
