Given the equations f(x) = -8x - 3 and g(x) = -8x - 10, what is the difference between the graphs of f(x) and g(x)? The graph of g(x) is 7 units lower than the graph of f(x). The graph of f(x) is flatter than the graph of g(x). The graph of f(x) is steeper than the graph of g(x). The graph of g(x) is 7 units higher than the graph of f(x).

@holliday4u can you help me

OpenStudy (holliday4u):

i will try...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the chat went weird quick

OpenStudy (holliday4u):

yup ok so think about this for a second.. difference usually means what? subtraction correct? ok so find the points of the 1st equation then follow the other directions it gives you. You might want a graphing paper for this..

OpenStudy (holliday4u):

then subtract all the other points like (x1- x2) (y1-y2)

i cant graph the hand i write with is messed up right now and i cant use my other hand for the life of me

OpenStudy (holliday4u):

try to find a computer program that graphs it for you?

OpenStudy (holliday4u):

i g2g tell me how it goes ^^
