The function f(x) = 245(4)x represents the growth of a fruit fly population every year in the orange grove. Stacey wants to manipulate the formula to an equivalent form that calculates every month, not every year. Which function is correct for Stacey's purposes? (6 points) f(x) = 45(4)x f(x) = 245(412) the x over 12 power f(x) = 2752(4)x f(x) = 245( 4 to the one twelfth power )12x i will give a fan!!!!

Julie: Please be sure to express that exponentiation properly. It's\[ f(x)=45(4)^x \] or

The annual growth rate is 4%. What would the equivalent rate be if the growth is measured monthly instead of annually? The exponent, x, would also have to be modified to indicate that the growth is measured 12 times per year. Hope you can convince me that this is not a test question. Neither are you allowed to ask for help with tests nor am I allowed to give you help with them.
