I'm having trouble finding y (finding the perimeter). I originally setup the equation as 3y+6y-2=86, but I got 9.7 and I don't believe this is correct. http://prntscr.com/a1r02l

The perimeter is the sum of all the sides. You only added two of the sides. The two sides that aren't given have the same lengths as the two sides that are given. So the bottom two sides are both 6y-2, the top two sides are both 3y.
