Question

Just a little poem I'd like to share that makes me emotional. My writing is not grade level, so don't expect the greatest poem.
Title: Two Peas in a Pod

There's something inside me that says to let go of you,
but internally I know,
it's because you're shy to face the sky,
the same with me,
we just don't know how to face it,
the world that seems to be like a little girl in chains,
the backstabbers,
the bullies,
all they do is beat you down,
and when all seem to close that door on you,
I'll open one to success,
and maybe,
if we find love and might,
it'll be as easy as cake to shake it off,
and ignore the ones who say,
you'll never be able to do it, and you know it,
but what we know is that we can prove you wrong,
in every way,
as long as the two peas stick together,
and fight for what we know is right.
