Sergio has two similar cylindrical pots, Pot A and Pot B. The radius of Pot A is 16 inches, and the radius of Pot B is 4 inches. What is the ratio of the volume of Pot A to the volume of Pot B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 32:8 but it doesn't seem correct?

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

Is any other information other than it's radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No thats it :/

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

What made you say 32:8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what I got

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

You multiplied the ratio 16:4 by two to get 32:8 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (sagewilson):
