Suppose you are modeling one of the following: the decreasing population of an endangered species, the increasing population of a city, the length or weight of an animal as it grows, the changing cost of an item over time, or a team’s winning percentages. Briefly describe the process you would use for finding a model for one of these, given data sets containing pairs of values. How would you predict what might happen in the future?
