@Quameshia21 We can set up a proportion. \(\sf \dfrac{21}{7} = \dfrac{27}{x}\) Cross multiply and solve for 'x', can you do that?

I did that but got the wrong answer.

Cross multiply 21 * x = ? 7 * 27 = ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Multiply those 2, what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

27*7= 189 21*x= 21x

OpenStudy (igreen):

Correct, that gives us: 21x = 189 Now divide 21 to both sides.
