OpenStudy (marcelie):

what values do you multiply or divide by for this trasnformation y= (2x)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

To get what?

OpenStudy (marcelie):

to graph it

OpenStudy (marcelie):

i know you could multiply or divide by the y values or x

OpenStudy (aravindg):

You don't have to! y=2x is a standard graph which passes through origin and with slope 2.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

You can graph it directly.

OpenStudy (marcelie):

OpenStudy (marcelie):

this the graph im just havin trouble by graphin this it

OpenStudy (marcelie):

number 5

OpenStudy (aravindg):

You didnt write it as f(2x) here lol

OpenStudy (marcelie):

lool plz help me

OpenStudy (marcelie):

wats easiest way to do it

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Easiest way is compressing the graph by half in horizontal direction.

OpenStudy (marcelie):

so how do i do tht

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Just draw the sane graph but change the final value to x=3 not x=6.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

*same

OpenStudy (marcelie):

cna you draw it out

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Same graph friend!! Just change the final value of x to 3.
