Can someone plz help me with this one small question.

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Think: Exactly what kind of help do you need? What are YOUR thoughts in regard to answering this question based upon the info given you in the diagram?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

What i just need to fin this= During which week would you expect Jack to run a full marathon, 26.3 miles? Do you think that you should round up or down to the nearest week? Why?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

@iGreen you can help me right plz

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Testing: Kindly contribute something positive towards the solution of this problem. It sounds as though you want to someone to just hand you the answer. That won't help you one bit in the long run. So, again,I ask you to explain what you're looking for. All the info is already in the graph; you need to know how to extract that info.

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

i dont know i just need the answer fast it i due today and it is relying on if i pass 7th grade or not

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

just plz plz plz help me plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should round down because .3 is lower\ than . 5 so it round s down to 0

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

so what would the answer be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

26.3 v to 26.0 because if the decimal was greater than five you would be able to round up to 27

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

so 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no 26

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Sorry you're in a hurry, but please understand that this is not the place to ask for or receive direct answers. If, on the other hand, you want to understand how to solve this problem yourself, great. 26.3 miles occurs during which week? That is the question. Not rounding up or down.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Between which week and which other week will the distance run reach 26.3 miles?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

i am not sure that is what i am trying to find out so it is not 26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eh I wish I can give you full direct answer but I might get reported.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please read the question again. Put the question into your own words. That may help.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Consider answering my questions for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

26 is for the second question for where you have to round because if he ran 26.5 it would be 27 but it was 26.3 so you round down.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to 26

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

so it will be 25

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Sorry, but no. Try copying the graph to paper. Extend the straight line graph so that it goes through y=26.3 . Between which weeks will that happen? More specifically, will that happen between weeks 5 and 10, or 10 and 15, or 15 and 20, or 20 and 25?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

never mind all of this is just to confusing i dont want to fail but i have no other choice
