question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the solution to the equation? x = 144 x = 30 x = 18 x = 4

@YoungStudier

OpenStudy (anitas.):

simplify 1/24 x to x/24 so your equation can look like this now\[x/24=1/6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok alright

OpenStudy (anitas.):

do you know how to multiply both sides by 24 from this equation \[x/24=1/6\]

OpenStudy (anitas.):

ok anyways after you multiply both sides by 24 the equation will now look like this \[x= \frac{ 1 }{ 6 }*24\]

OpenStudy (anitas.):

now we simplify 1/6 *24 to 24/6 which is \[x=\frac{ 24}{6 }\]

OpenStudy (anitas.):

now we simplify 24/6 to 4 and as our answer we get \[x=4\] So do you understand how I did this question for you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anitas.):

did you understand how i did this?
