What is the Question?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

OpenStudy (josedavid):

he sail of a boat is in the shape of a right triangle, as shown below: The sail of a boat is a right triangle with an acute base angle equal to 50 degrees and the height of the sail is 6 meters. Which expression shows the length, in meters, of the side adjacent to the 50 degree angle? 6 sin 50° 6 cot 50° 6 divided by sec 50 degrees 6 divided by cot 50 degrees

2 more question please

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Hey, Lets see

OpenStudy (josedavid):

im is designing a seesaw for a children's park. The seesaw should make an angle of 30° with the ground, and the maximum height to which it should rise is 1.5 meters, as shown below: A seesaw is shown with one end on the ground and the other in the air. The seesaw makes an angle of 30 degrees with the ground. The height of the seesaw from the ground, at the other end, is labeled 1.5 meters. What is the maximum length of the seesaw? 3.0 meters 3.5 meters 4.0 meters 4.5 meters i think is a or c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a right angle triangle so we can use the trig ratios we need the missing adjacent side and we know the opposite side is 6, so the trig ratio we use is tan theta= opposite/ adjacent

OpenStudy (josedavid):

ohh okay thank u. can u help me in this ones

OpenStudy (infinexa):

ok

OpenStudy (josedavid):

thank u

OpenStudy (infinexa):

OpenStudy (infinexa):

I think it would be A

OpenStudy (josedavid):

Which expression is equal to sec x° multiplied by cot x°? hypotenuse ÷ adjacent adjacent ÷ hypotenuse opposite ÷ adjacent hypotenuse ÷ opposite i think is c or d

OpenStudy (josedavid):

@AloneS @NetflixAndYes @usernametesting4 @Qwertty123 @gherbowife @johnweldon1993 @just_one_last_goodbye

OpenStudy (gherbowife):

what is the question

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

sec x=hyp/adj cot x= adj/opp (hyp/adj)*(adj/opp)=hyp/opp= csc

OpenStudy (josedavid):

which one

OpenStudy (josedavid):

Which expression is equal to sec x° multiplied by cot x°? hypotenuse ÷ adjacent adjacent ÷ hypotenuse opposite ÷ adjacent hypotenuse ÷ opposite i think is c or d

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

One of your guesses are right!

OpenStudy (josedavid):

so is c

OpenStudy (josedavid):

hey i need help with this question Which expression is equal to sec x° multiplied by cot x°? hypotenuse ÷ adjacent adjacent ÷ hypotenuse opposite ÷ adjacent hypotenuse ÷ opposite i think is c or d

OpenStudy (josedavid):

@narissa @NikeFanBoy @NetflixAndYes @Nafa78

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

NO it would be D

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

sec x=hyp/adj cot x= adj/opp (hyp/adj)*(adj/opp)=hyp/opp= csc

OpenStudy (josedavid):

one more Find the measure of angle x. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. (please type the numerical answer only) i think is 29

OpenStudy (josedavid):

OpenStudy (josedavid):

the first is not from the questions is the last picture i send

OpenStudy (josedavid):

@Qwertty123

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

sin(x) = 8/17 ... now all we have to do is unwrap the x, which you mentioned before is called what type of action?

OpenStudy (josedavid):

okay and mine ws right

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

x = sin^-1 (8/17) which we simply

OpenStudy (josedavid):

ummm is hard

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Yes! lol So it would be 29 right because you have to round!

OpenStudy (josedavid):

thank u so mcuh i have a 80

OpenStudy (qwertty123):
