A. 16 feet B. 49 feet C. 112 feet D. 53 feet

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

can you drawing them ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok.

OpenStudy (isaidavila):

Use the tangent to find it Since both triaangle are similar its angles are too. So Tg@=7/4 and Tg@=h/28 7/4=h/28 Just solve that

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

but can using the rule of 3 simple 7 feet tall street sign ---- 4 feet shadow x height building cast ---------- 24 feet shadow ---------------------------------------------- x = 24*7/4 = ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry not 24 i have missed it will be there 28 - sorry

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

x=28*7/4 = ? x= ?

OpenStudy (isaidavila):

The answer is the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it equal 49 B.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

49 ????? what ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait sorry not 49 hold on a sec

OpenStudy (isaidavila):

Is not?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

49 is right but you need writing there again the unit of measure - yes ?

OpenStudy (isaidavila):

Ah ok

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

do you understand this way to solve it ?
