So the function that models Peters overall game time as well as his game time for the next 8 weeks is f(x)=5x+10, now to explain what each number in the situation represents, the f(x) is the total amount of hours he will have played at the given amount of x (the x represents the weeks) 8=x. So the 5 in the equation represents the additional hours each week, and the +10 represents the number of hours he has already played.
