Can anyone help me check my answer? In ABC, points D and E are the midpoints of and respectively. What are the slope and length of , if the slope and length of are 0.5 and 3.2 units, respectively? I think the answer is slope = 0.25, length = 1.6 units based on the fact that the triangle is half the size of ABC

Do you have a picture?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm nope, no picture, that´s all they gave me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I'm not getting the question :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm, Lets say of the Slope of a triangle, ABC, is 0.5, would the slope of a triangle half its size would be 0.25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, because .5 is half, and half of half is .25

Thank you!
