OpenStudy (mathwizzard3):

I need help with understanding how to draw this: A boy flying a kite lets out 150 feet of string that makes an angle of 64 degrees with the ground. If the string forms a straight line, how high is the kite above the ground? ~Thanks

OpenStudy (phi):

draw the ground (a horizontal line) draw a line from the ground up to the kite at an angle of 64 degrees

OpenStudy (mathwizzard3):

And the vertical line would be 150?

OpenStudy (phi):

it says the "string makes an angle with the *ground*" so I would put the angle formed by the ground and the string. and where I come from, the ground is at the bottom
