Jon started with a diagram like the one below and drew a three-dimensional figure by rotating the circle 369 degrees about line m.
can you drawing it please ?
I think that this is the complete problem: Jon started with a diagram like the one below and drew a three-dimensional figure by rotating the circle 360 degrees about line m. http://i.imgur.com/3Wl8cyC.png Nadia started with a diagram like the one shown below and drew a three-dimensional figure by rotating the right triangle ABC 360 degrees about line n. http://i.imgur.com/O4Ts70O.png Question 1: Name the three-dimensional figure created by each person. Nadia remarked that her figure has an infinite number of planes of symmetry. Jon gave a sly grin and remarked that his figure has an infinite number plus one! After explaining the difference between his figure’s planes of symmetry and hers, Jon convinces Nadia that his figure does have one more than hers. Question 2: How might Jon have explained this?
@Directrix sorry but then you see in the text of exercise have wrote rotating by 369 degree or this is a mistaque ?
I think it is a mistake. The Asker typed a "9" when meaning to type the adjacent "0." Rotation of 360 degrees is what I think. @jhonyy9
yes i think it same too but the Asker need deciding what is the text of this exercise or how is exactly in the book - yes ?
