I feel like whenever I ask for feedback; people dont actually give feedback sometimes...like...they will say something like; "its seems cheesy to me" :( its really depressing and makes me feel like crap. what do i do? ignoring them doesnt seem to be enough
i feel like they arent against code of conduct so reporting them does nothing :/
"it seems cheesy to me" is feedback, it means that they think the idea/whatever it is you want feedback on is cheesy.... However if you want actual feedback you can ask, "why do you think it's cheesy?" or " Can you tell me why it's cheesy so I can improve (on whatever it is) " As long as they aren't being rude it shouldn't be a problem as a question in return though get to know why they think what they think
but ill say something to that affect and they dont reply :/ it feels less like "feedback" and more just to put what im doing down. It is feedback; yes; but when I ask for feedback. I usually will say something to the effect of "feedback that will help me improve"
As I said earlier, just ask them why they said what they said if they don't reply then move on and get others to give feedback :-)
thats not my problem. my problem is that it really puts me down and makes me feel like crap. I wanna know what i need to do to make it stop. I want feedback; i would ust prefer feedback that wasnt mean like "its cheesy? or "I dont like it"
whoops " not '?'
