Hello, all you lovely people! I would like to briefly post a friendly reminder for all to see: Please do not forget the all of the wonderful things that result from both giving and possessing kindness. Remember the very first rule listed within our Code of Conduct: "Be Nice!" Our words can be used either as weapons or as wings. They can either kill a person or lift them up. Please think in depth about what you say and how this may make other people feel. Don't be a bully! Thank you all for all of your time and consideration, and thank you for using OpenStudy! :)
Also, if you ever see anyone being extremely rude or unkind either to another user or to yourself, please report it! Bullying is not tolerated here!
Couldbt have said it any better. Thanks for these uplifting words of encouragement @whitemonsterbunny17

Thanks. Got it. :)
I always try to spread positivity and kindness wherever I am. I don't like seeing people rude to each other!
Nice post. Lovely message. :)
"Our words can be used either as weapons or as wings. They can either kill a person or lift them up. " But remember, "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me." ;)
Remember! Sometimes actions speaks louder than words.

I agree :) @Whitemonsterbunny17
Thanks @Whitemonsterbunny17 ! :) I get bullied a lot so this is helpful! :)
Will do! :)
I have been bullied a lot in the past as well, so I understand. It's really sad that bullying still goes on, but I'm happy to be able to prevent or lessen it somehow. If anyone ever needs to talk about anything, I'm here. :)

Thanks for saying it babbit! It needs to be said. I'm always getting teased for being too nice but eh who cares if I'm too nice. I love making people happy and spreading love and kindness. OS gives me an opportunity to do just that as well as help others. :3
And don't say "lmao" either, you don't want to trigger anyone.
Tbh, Bullying is part of life.
It builds character.
I disagree with your comment. Bullying does not build character. It slowly tears people apart and breaks them down. Sometimes, it can even cause a person to end their own life. Think about how your words might affect the thoughts and emotions of others. Even something such as calling someone "stupid" can have a huge affect on their thoughts. You don't know how often they feel stupid or get called stupid, and when a person hears the same comment over and over, it becomes glued into their mind and they start to believe it as true. It's simple psychology. It all boils down to this: Do you want your unkind comment to possibly be what pushes someone over the edge and causes them to end their own life? Or do you want to keep unkind comments to yourself, maybe even finding something nice to say which could lift the other person's spirits (and maybe save their life)? Either way, bullying isn't tolerated on OpenStudy. Be nice- it's one of our rules listed within the Code of Conduct, and it isn't hard to follow. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their day/night! :)
Best way to get medal! 44
Bullying is a part of life. If you do not get bullied, you will never realize the importance of sticking up for yourself. You will go through life thinking everything is peachy until you get into a situation when you realize that the world does not care about you. It is sad when people get excessively bullied to the point of suicide, however suicide is a choice that they made. Sometimes things like these are needed to toughen people up, and get them ready for the real world. source: http://www.debate.org/debates/Is-bullying-acceptable-and-part-of-life/1/
