I just got a bunch of new notifications, and there seems to be some inconsistency with timing.

So basically, I gave you a medal on a post 8 months ago. And then anaise comes along and medals you on an old post. It sends you a notification that you got a medal, but OS is slow and doesn't show you the most recent user who gave you a medal on that post. Instead it shows the second and third most recent user who gave you a medal on that post.

Now it all depends when the second last medal was recieved. And it just makes it look like there is some inconsistency with timing, when in reality, it's just that OS isn't able to give you the most recent information. :P

Jay's desktop notifications in his extension always popup with the new notifications.
He's stated that those notifications are actually NEW notifications, however its showing the last time you received a notification from that post, and the last notification from that post, rather then the most up to date notification from the post.

Hes also stated this is CLIENT side, not server side, and that this means the parser that parses new notifications is not working properly.

Jay has stated he planned to fix this issue, but in the meantime Desktop Notifications correctly parse notifications, giving you new notifications accurately.
