Just came here to confirm my answer to this question, Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 24cm and 18cm. If the distance between the longer sides is 12cm, find the distance between the shorter sides. Basically what i did is i found the area which is 24 x 12 which is = 288cm^2. Then i divided 288 into 18cm (the length of the shorter sides) which gave me 16cm, i was just wondering if this is the correct method to solve the above question?
