There are 60 6th graders okay? And 30% have cats. So what I did was take 60 and subtact it by 30% and I got 42

Sale Price = 45 - 9
Sale Price = $36 (answer)
This means, the cost of the item to you is $36.
You will pay $36 for a item with original price of $45 when discounted 20%.
In other words, So if you buy an item at $45 with 20% discounts, you pay 9 - 9 = $36
