Question
2. x=20 y=40
3. x=24 y=48
4. x=8
5. x=22
Did you need not to answer 1?
o shoot
1. x=9 and y=18?
all of those are similar triangles to |dw:1455556680708:dw| so an a right isolclecs triangle both legs are equal ...you could use Pythagorean to find the hyp given the length of one the sides anyways similar triangle means the sides of the triangle have been scaled be a constant So for example since number 2: you see one leg is 20 and our triangle above we have one leg is 1. so 1*20=20 that means you multiply all the sides in my picture I just drew by 20 to find x and y. So let's did you do that? x=1*20 y=sqrt(2)*20 so how did you find y in number 2? and I haven't checked to see if you multiplied everything in my triangle by 9 or yet for number 1 (but it doesn't look like it)
