Multiply Fraction with Whole Number
a. write a whole number less than -8.
b. write the second number, a mixed number with denominator gerater than 9.
c. show all steps as you multiply the "first number by the second", and then simplify.
d. your answer must be positive.

Mathematically its impossible to get a positive answer by multiplying a positive with a negative which seems like what the question is asking you to do. Until and unless you take a negative second number your answer will not come positive.

Lets take any number which is smaller than -8 how about -10
First number = -10
b. write the second number, a mixed number with denominator greater than 9.
Okay a mixed number is a number which consists of an integer and a fraction
lets take the integar -5 and fraction 2/10 (since the denominator should be greater than 9)
Our mixed number will be -5 2/10
c. show all steps as you multiply the "first number by the second", and then simplify.
Okay lets multiply
