In order to check for a triangle, the sum of any two sides must be greater than the third side. For a real triangle, let's take the classic right triangle 3:4:5 side ratio. Any two sides added together must be greater than the third side. 3+4>5 4+5>3 5+3>4 I'll show you the first choice. For A. 11, 5, 4 to be a triangle, 5 + 4 (any two sides) must be greater than 11 (the remaining side), 4+11 must be greater than 5, and 11+5 must be greater than 4. Unfortunately, all of those are NOT true, so A is not a triangle. Hope this helps and don't forget to click 'best response' :)
