Estimate the product of 15.217 × 9.54.

Round each number to the nearest whole number.

......multiply those 2 numbers and then round to the nearest whole number which means you look at the first number after the decimal in the answer and if it is a 5 or higher then you raise the number in front of the decimal by 1..

For example if the answer is 12.7 then when you round it to the nearest whole you change it to 13. If the number is 12.3 then you just leave it at 12
