Law of Cosines & Law of Sines Use the law of cosines and then the Law of Sines to answer the following: A group of friends who are camping on a trip decide to go on a hike. According to the map shown, what is the angle formed by the two trails that lead to the camp? ROUND TO NEAREST DEGREE

Which quantity (e. g., which angle or side) do y ou aim to find first? Which would help you more, the Law of Sines or the Law of Cosines? Please choose one of these. Get started substituting the appropriate values into the equation you choose.
Please read the problem statement carefully to determine which angle you are to find first.
I know that I need to use Law of Cosine formulas and Law of Sines formulas. I always get to one point in these questions though where I cannot seem to complete them. We technically have to start with Law of Cosines and then use Law of Sines after to complete it. We are supposed to find largest side/angle first since it is SSS. I already know that part.
Why must y ou find the largest side / angle first? Please, reread the directions.
Which 2 trails lead to the camp?
Well, yes in our case we find the smallest ones which is m<BC but generally we find largest angle first so that we can determine what the other angles are. We determine them by LoS.
