if so I would convert 8/11 to decimal. 


$$\frac{ 8 }{ 11 } = 0.727, repeating $$

ideally it should be between these two numbers. 

$$0.8555, repeating $$

or  

$$0.727<x<0.855$$

You could easily enter the fractions in a calculator and you know that the number must be between 

0.72727(repeating) and .85858585 repeating
