this is true because if a plant has too much "water" then it could burst from the pressure within. If the cell has too little, then it could cave in on its self.

yes i took this class a couple years ago it was easy 4 me & osmosis is is the process that helps a cell keep & obtain equilibrium which is necessary for homeostasis.
