for the first part, it gives you a formula already for the growth. The only thing you need to plug into the formula is a number for 't' because the time(t) is what determines the population. Since it asks what is the starting population, that means what is the population when no time has passed yet. So you plug in 0 for 't' since no time has passed and you use a calculator to solve the equation
@TheSeabass I plugged 0 in and I got 407.8 I'm not sure how to do part c though
@yankeeez please write me here how you have calculed the initial population when you need substitute in place of t zero - because your result not is right
do you know one indifferent number on power, exponent zero how many will be ?
I just plugged it into my calculator and that's what I got
i dont know how you have do it but do you know the answer on my question please ?
whoops I plugged it in wrong. I now got 400. I do not know the answer to your question though
why ? you need to know that one indifferent number on power ,exponent zero equal 1 - ok,? so can you calculi it now right ?
so than you know now that this term with e is one can you dividing 10.400 by 0,5 ?
yes I understand that now. That gives me 20,800. So that's the answer to c then?
For part c, when you find which graph is right, you look at that graph and look at the part of the graph is flat. When it is flat that means the . Its usually the top because the population will grow until it can grow anymore . So look what is the population on the part of the graph that is flat.
no to c is the answer to a because this is the initial population on year zero - ok.?
oh ok. And the answer to c is not 20,000 because I already checked and that was not correct.
so a. is solved
the b. ?
I am pretty sure the correct graph is the top left one
you need giving this 50 100 and 150 years value to t and calculi the number of population what will get - just for proofe of this graph - ok?
for 50 it's: 2749 for 100 it's: 11272 for 150 it's: 18759
ok but than you see on the graph you see that these value are right graphed ? aproximatly
so than you check this graph for 50 you need getting over 15000 - yes ?
yes so then it would be the bottom right graph instead
you dont like making these proffe of with calculi ?
I already did
but than you see this second graph for 100 you have got over 11 000 but the graph is down the 10000 - yes ?
yep I checked it and it's right. Now i just need to do part c
do you see the graph marked by one x ? so i think this will be right
there are 4 graphes ?
yeah the bottom right one is correct
ok so the c.
what you need calculi for c. ?
on this right graph you see that the max. value of t is 200 years so you need to calculi for t=200 what will get for population of birds - ok. ?
are you here ?
ok. was my pleasure bye
yes the answer is 20512.67
