Estimate the circumference. Use 3.14 or 22/7 to approximate π. http://prntscr.com/a3o3z7 A. 18.75 cm B. 19.63 cm C. 37.5 cm D. 39.25 cm (If you cant open the link, theres a picture!) (:

Thank you!!

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Anytime ^_^

OpenStudy (x__hazel__x):

Is 12.5 the diamater? If so, then the asnwer would be π × 12.5 = 39.26... right? XD

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Right! 39.25 :) Remember that the diameter is a straight line passing from side to side through the center of a circle or sphere.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The circumference of a circle is found by using either of 2 formulas (which are equivalent to one another): C=2pi * r or C = pi*d, where r=the radius and d=the diameter.
