I got 141,328,480 when I did it

OpenStudy (caominhim):

they're not using place values correctly

OpenStudy (caominhim):

3568 = 3000 + 500 + 60 + 8 39610 = 30000 + 9000 + 600 + 10 + 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that the correct way?

OpenStudy (caominhim):

well not really, first off, what grade are you in? this will effect how I explain this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm really not sure where to even start with this problem. They are wrong, that's clear. What they are doing makes no sense and the numbers are senselessly generated. Just say no they're wrong and do some math to show the correct answer.
