Black History Month poem? Please help, will fan and medal!
I need to write a poem about any person or group that played a vital role in advancing the cause of equal rights for African Americans. Doesn't matter how long, but it just needs to be a poem about a person mentioned in the print (person that played vital role). Can you help? I suck at writing.
I cant help with the whole poem, but I would say try doing MLK. Martin king. Since hes so popular, it should be easy. He did a few marches. Montgomery bus boycott, bloody sunday, and march on washington. Go to history.com and you will find something. The hard part will be making a poem out of it. Info part is easy. Good Luck!!!
Martin Luther King is a great choice but I think you should do someone else. You can do him, your choice, but everyone chooses to do him even though we all pretty much know all about him, it seems as though some do him as an "easy" choice. There are other black leaders that have made a difference for past and current equal rights for the African american community.
