Easy Medal
Add and simplify. (2x - y - 2z - 6) + (-6x + 4y + 3z + 8) A. -4x + 3y + z + 2 B. 4x - 3y - z + 2 C. -4x + 3y - z - 2 D. 4x - 3y + z + 2
I have no idea, which is why i asked the question in the first place.
Do you know how to add and simplify polynomials?
Doubt it.
-4x+3y+z+2
No direct answers please.
So its A Just add all like terms together. Its like grouping. Wold you like me to explain further?

You don't know that. Someone gave a direct answer. That doesn't mean it's correct.
Wolfram Alpha is a math-based tool, and it's not just for math either.
Start with original question: (2x - y - 2z - 6) + (-6x + 4y + 3z + 8) Now group: All numbers with x go together, all numbers with y go together, all numbers with z go together, and the other two numbers with no letters go together. Lets start with numbers with x: 2x-6x= -4x Now with numbers with y: -y+4y= +3y Now numbers with z: -2z+3z= +z Now the numbers without letters: -6+8= +2 Now combine the answers and you get -4x+3y+z+2 Which is choice A
do you have to make an account?
@KatnissEverdeen12 No
gave you a medal Andrew :) good work
Thank you Katniss
@BrownieCat Did that help you?
I already got the answer by myself. No one gets the medal.
