Just so you know, the "mean" is the average. In order to find the average, you would add up all of the numbers that you are given and then divide by how many numbers you have..
in first question, there are 5 pempukins, so add all and devide by 5 and you got the mean value
Incorrect @k12.1
7.6 is correct. Nice job.
use formula as like that, \[x _{1}+x _{2}+x _{3}+...+x _{n}/n\]
Moving on to question number 2 now?
Alright, once again, add up the test scores that it gives you, then divide by how many scores you were given in total.
Incorrect.
Mean means sum all given data and divide by no. of data. Ans.1) (7+5+9+5+12)/12 =7.6 Ans.2) (92+94+100+83)/4 =92.25 Ans.3) make equation- (x+110+90)/3=115 (solve for x) so score of third game (x)= 145
Try it one more time. :)
@shaswatrajput Do not give the direct answers please. it is against the code of conduct. Try to just lead them /guide them first. Let them find the actual answer.
92.25 is right.
yey
Okay, for this last question you need to set up an equation. Do you know how to do that?
145 yes?
Yes, but did you get 145 because the other person told you, or did you actually try to work it out?
i worked it out on paper and / in my mind
Okay. That is correct. You did a good job! :)
yay ill make another ok i have a few more left ok
Okay, that's fine. Feel free to @ me on the questions if you need me :)
